Come visit my creative chaos!

Summer arrived just in time for the fall Wave tour. Hard to believe it's that time again! This Labour Day weekend at the Runs with Scissors Studio, I will be exhibiting the work of printmaker Leslie Gillies, along with my mother Jean's stunning ceramic work. Plus, I've got a new shipment of those funky San Miguel shoes and boots to kick off the fall season (samples are on my website). My studio is #17 on the map right next door to CF Casey Guitars #18.

For downloadable maps and brochure, visit http://www.watchthewave.ca/ (If links in this email don't work, you'll have to type the URL into your browser)

Hope to see you out!

The Forum Art Centre is looking for instructors

We are looking for an instructor for a Saturday afternoon class. The class is for parent and child together called "Doing Art Together". It would cover a variety of media- drawing, painting , sculpture (we have 2 kilns) etc. The class is ten weeks. If we get enough students signed up (6 or more) the class will start Sept 19. We are also always on the lookout for artist/instructors in other mediums for our day or evening classes or artists wanting to do Sunday workshops.

The criteria for an instructor is someone in the final years at the art school or with a BFA or equivalent experience in art that is interested in being an instructor. A very strong interest in teaching art is the most important element.

If you are interested send a resume - call/email Art Director Tom Andrich at 667-1345- hogshair@yahoo.ca or Exec Director Daryl Dumanski at the The Forum Art Centre Mondays or Thursdays 9-4 235-1069 forumart@shaw.ca.
